happy birthday Titus

Today is the day! One year ago today was one of my favorite days of my life. Its funny really. I’m sitting here on a bench at summer camp ( getting ready to leave) and I’ve got tears in my eyes. I’ve always loved birthdays, especially mine. However, this is the first time I’ve ever felt quite this way about someone turning another year older. It wasn’t that long ago that sara and I were praying for a child, on pins and needles as to whether we could actually have one. Once we found out we were having Titus, we were thrilled, excited and nervous all at the same time. It wasn’t until I saw that beautiful face for the first time that I let out a huge sigh of relief. He’s truly a precious gift from God, an answer to prayer. I love being a dad, I think it might be my true calling. I’m so blessed to have it all, a beautiful bride and the most amazing son in the world!
