Off to Atlanta, GA!

As you may or may not know, my parents are in the tax preparation business. They bought a ExpressTax franchise four years ago and business has been booming! Two years ago they opened up a second office (they went multi-site). The ExpressTax company really likes my parents and invite them to train new franchise owners every year. They had already done two training session in Atlanta and had one more. Since Sara, Titus and I didn’t have any set plans yet and because I might be involved with helping them this tax season, we all went to Atlanta together.

We all went to Atlanta in two cars (I had to return the rental car) and Gene was flying back to London the next day. That night we went to Fugo de Chao for dinner. It’s one of those Brazilian steak houses. Absolutely incredible. The next several days we just spent in training sessions with about 35 new franchise owners. Mom and Dad did all the training and I was the PowerPoint guy. It was fun and I learned a lot.
