Back from Florida

Family, Titus, Travel

Epcot We had a great week in Florida… mostly. I was sick for two or three days (It wasn’t quite the same as the bug Titus brought to the East coast). However, on Thursday we did get a chance to go to Epcot for the afternoon and evening. It was incredible.

I had visited Epcot two times as a child, but both times in the 80’s. I had a lot of great memories there. It was a lot of fun to go back and see it all again. Surprisingly, not that much has changed. There are a few new rides and the insides of some buildings have changed, but the 1970’s vision of the future are alive and well in the architecture. Sara, Titus and I walked around for a few hours… saw the world. Later when mom and dad got there, Dad and I rode a few rides in future land (whatever it is called) while Sara, mom and Titus enjoyed window shopping around the world. We all got together for a late night dinner in Germany.

We finished up the conference on Saturday and headed over to Tampa. We spend the night and most of the day on Sunday with our cousins and Great Aunt. We finally got home close to midnight on Sunday. It was a great week. I certainly learned a lot about the business that my parents are in… I’ll write more about my involvement a little later.
