Being home

Family, Titus

Well, being home has is advantages as well as its disadvantages. It’s so nice to be back in our house, sleeping in our bed and chillin’ on the couches. However, we don’t have that nurse call button any more….

Titus has been absolutley wonderful, but we are getting a little taste of the challengest that come with raising a newborn. His schedule is just a little out of control at times. He just doesn’t seem to want to sleep when he should be sleeping, and sometimes he’d rather sleep in our arms when really he should be sleeping in  the crib. Each day we seem to be getting a better handle on this. Sara is getting better adjusted to feeding this little guy. We’re pretty much feeding him every 3 hours (occasionally every two) and hitting one 4 hour span at night. For the most part, this is how it’s been.

Today we had his first doctor appointment. Everything was good; however, the doctor wasn’t thrilled with his weight. He was 8 pounds, 5 ounces and birth and 8 pounds, 3 ounces when released from the hospital. Today he was 7 pounds, 9 ounces. The doctor just wanted to see him turn those numbers around. So, now we’ll be supplementing an ounce of formula along with his feedings.

Really, that is about it. Not much else. We’re just enjoying the little guy. Enjoy the pictures.

    Kenny,

Not sure if you remember us or not (Lizzie and Josh Suiter) but we helped you with camp at Graceland one spring break.

We ran into Jan Whittenberg last night and just wanted to drop in and say congrats. We are so happy for you.

Keep up the good work in your ministry! We know God is blessing you and all the people you come in contact with.
