What it’s like to live in the same room with your 11 month old

Titus

For just over a month we lived in a hotel room with Titus and Francie. It wasn’t really that big of a deal to all live in one room, but it’s a little bit of shock to go from over 2000 square feet to less than 400 square feet. The hardest part was putting Titus to bed. Normally we’re used to giving Titus goodnight kisses, putting him in his bed in his room and then leaving his room. He’ll usually play for a little while and then fall asleep. Well, when Mom and Dad are in the same room, why would you ever want to go to sleep. I decided to document part of this process one night. Between the bed time acrobatics and the raspberry blowing, I think this is our favorite video of Titus yet!

What a kid! To think he can actually get fully grown, normally intelligent adults to sit in front of a computer screen and stare at a black screen for a full five minutes – and all he has to do the coo and giggle and jabber and blow raspberries! That boy has some amazing talent!

He is so precious – enjoy every little sound and every little raspberry – all too quickly he’ll be talking on the phone to some young lady until wee hours, instead of making noises at Mom and Dad!

Make every minute count! Love you ALL, Nene
