I’m not one to blog about food, but I’ll make a few exceptions. If you’re looking for details so descriptive you can literally taste the food, you need to read my wife’s blog. I’ll just provide the necessary details.

We’d just hiked 10 kilometers and we were hungry little bears. We had heard about a good Irish Pub and a good tasty meal sounded perfect. So, we stopped in at St. James’s Gate.

Sara had shepherds pie (I think… I really don’t remember). It was delicious as I had a few bites. I ate fish and chips. Why? Because if I’m ever at an Irish Pub, I’m always going to order the fish and chips. Actually, if I’m at any restaurant that serves fish and chip, I’m going to get that. So I did and it was good.

We shared some kind of yummy desert. I don’t remember what it was, but it was good. I know, I’m not nearly as good as Sara is at the food thing. I’ll stop now.

For those of you wondering…it was an Irish Cream Cheesecake. Yum. And by the way, the author of my blog is currently on a mental health vacation…or something like that…so you won’t find any updates there for a while.

Hey, take all the time you need – it will take me awhile to track down the recipe for – then make and devour an “Irish Cream Cheescake”! The above is simply a teaser of great things to come once you get back from your ‘vacation’! Love you!
